Helensburgh, Scotland. Designed by Charles and Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh for publisher William Blackie, 1902-04. It is one of the best examples of the distinctive Glasgow School style, which combined influences of Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, and Japanese design.
