I once stayed at a B&B in Scotland that had 3 of these beasts. On the booking form it said “must like dogs”. What it didnt tell you was “you will open the door to your room in the morning and the dog will be looking eye to eye with you”

Took my cats to the vet once and one of these dudes was in the waiting room. It was like a  6 foot tall man had decided to lay on the floor and sprawl out his limbs.

The First UPS Biscuit.
It is a profound and meaningful event in the life of a puppy.
It sets the stage for every interaction that the dog will ever have with the driver of the big brown United Puppy Snacks truck that comes to its home. An entire lifetime of successful biscuit mooching and affectionate interaction hangs in the balance. If this critical and solemn moment is handled properly, the driver will be blessed with a friend for life. If he handles it improperly, then being confronted with bared fangs and a savage growl will be his unfortunate fate.
I was recently honored to dispense the First Biscuit to this wee waif of a wire-haired weinerdog that was wriggling and wagging in wide-eyed wonderment at my wealth of cookies. Look at the excitement. Look at the joy. Observe the enthusiasm of this sweet pup. My mission here has been successful. Long after my retirement, when my biscuit adventures are little more than distant memories, this dog will still be affectionately greeting the fortunate driver who takes my place and continues this time-honored tradition in the hallowed hills outside of Newberg, Oregon!
