Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016)
rainbowrites asked:
2: A movie you disliked as a kid that you like/love now
Huh! Huh. God I’m honestly not sure I’ve ever revisited a movie I *didn’t* like when I was young…. Does it count that I was terrified by the ending of E.T., just totally hated it, but now love Stranger Things? Not a movie I know, but I don’t know what else I got!
16: Name a movie you love that you would recommend to just about everyone.
Hunt for the Wilderpeople is so fucking good and watchable. Weird enough for weirdos, accessible enough for normies. Everyone pls fall in love with Taika.
11: Are there any movies you watch on special occasions every year (Christmas, Halloween, birthdays, your mother’s aunt’s wedding anniversary, etc.)
OH YOU KNOW IT :D One would be that while I didn’t watch it this year, I do want to watch the Baz Great Gatsby every 4th of July. It’s ideal.
“I hate you! I hope you die!
“Me too!”

#RICKY BAKER! #this scene gets 500% better when you know they improv’ed this song on the day #because they suddenly realised they didn’t have the rights paid to use ‘happy birthday’ at that time #so waititi and the actors just …did this #they’re all credited under ‘songs’ in the credits #rima te wiata and sam neill and waititi and like some others who were crew that day
