Please come back! For Stamets! For Tilly!
Eh, the show isn’t about them though. And it’s not even really about Michael either, so who know’s what’s going on there. Probably it’s under-led and over-produced.

Unless it’s unwatchable for you I’d say to at least give it until the end of the season
Why though? I gave this show 9 episodes, which is one more than I gave TNG before moving on, and it would be due to the same reasoning: I like this a bit, but why stick around when there’s so many other things out there I could like a lot, or even Love. And then I found Deep Space Nine. So you see how it is.

There’s a character named Lorca??? Sigh your recaps alone have a strange persuasive power that I don’t understand
His first name is Gabriel, and every time Cornwell has called him that my entire neuronal network is stunned into silence for a split second.
And really?? Even though they’re so lukewarm??

Lorca is just a TNG admiral.
This is the deftest fucking insight, thank you, holy shit. And, loops us nicely back up to my earlier TNG comment!

“I suggest just my girlfriend” 😂
Thank you so much for giving me the honor of laughing at that given that you just sent me watch-notes that included the line “fuck Lorca now and forever, leave my washed out mushroom child alone”, which is priceless

I’m in the same boat I am really not sure I want to watch more. I probably will end up watching it just cause it’s star trek but still… Lorca’s line about changing them “from polite scientists to fearsome warriors” is basically whats wrong with all of discovery :(
