Somehow we’ve MADE IT TO SEASON 7, the Prophets only know how.

But as from the very beginning, I’ve had *you* to light my way!! ✨

Thank you, oh a thousand thanks my friend. For your sure and steady guidance, and the at this point HOURS OF DELIGHT rehashing episodes with you after I’ve posted my notes. Including, of course, the a la carte Deets :)  Bless a nerd-connect.

oh and yes this does mean: I'M STARTING DS9-7 :D AAHH replies memory-for-trifles Star Trek: Collected Recs Star Trek DS9 Star Trek Tarra Treks

memory-for-trifles replied to your post “I am probably going to watch Legion because of you and I’m really…”

If you have the inclination/time could you share your springtime playlist?

Yeah sure okay! Wellntruly’s Playlists Goin’ Public

Printemps 17

Le Temps De L’Amour - Françoise Hardy
Israelites - Desmond Dekker
Concrete & Clay - Unit 4 + 2
Lo Boob Oscillator - Stereolab
Go Home - Lucius (yes I have linked you to the first song of a Tiny Desk Concert, as that’s the version of this I have and adore)
For No One - The Beatles
Mon Amie La Rose - Françoise Hardy
The Cat With the Cream - Belle & Sebastian
Parasol - Jonquil
Rue St. Vincent - Yves Montrand
The Heroic Weather-Conditions Of The Universe, Part 1 - Alexandre Desplat
Power In the Blood - Lucius
Pauvre Lola - Serge Gainsbourg
Don’t You Worry - Jim Noir
Severed Crossed Fingers - St. Vincent
Sons and Daughters - The Decemberists
Le Tourbillon - Jeanne Moreau

So this playlist began life two years ago as Printemps 15, though that was probably just a French new wave of the spring thing I had going on before that, which was mostly like…Bistro Fada.

You will note that while exaggerating, I was not at all kidding about the French songs from the 1960s and/or tracks from Wes Anderson movies. Apparently this is just What I Do in the Springtime.

(You in particular will also note that this year’s version contains Pauvre Lola, and how it feels like it has always belonged here. The show for me, etc.)

1. The Magnificent Ferengi. 2. Far Beyond the Stars. 3. Waltz.

memory-for-trifles replied to your postThose are both amazing episodes deserving of a…

1. One Little Ship or Ferengi Love Songs (off the top of my head, I haven’t looked at an episode list in awhile) 2. In the Pale Moonlight b/c it is The Most Classic, Far Beyond the Stars as a very worthy runner-up 3. I’m not sure if I’m interpreting the category correctly, but I think it would be Sacrifice of Angels

The New New Game is definitely what everyone is going to take my “delicious and fucked up” category to mean, I’m DELIGHTED about it already

Can you believe we’ve gotten to the point where it’s easier to just mention the handful I shouldn’t watch? WHAT A WONDROUS JOURNEY THIS HAS BEEN.

As always, your guidance is as sure and beautiful as the North Star~~
