Fashion industry creative director, Bruno’s home in Milan, Italy, is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

He’s definitely a maximalist. His home is full of objects and creativity. Each object has a special meaning that reminds him of a specific event or person.

He finds lots of colors, reassuring.

Would you believe this is the kitchen? I like these paper cutouts that are simply stuck to the wall with masking tape.

The kitchen looks nothing like a kitchen- it has a carpet, and is decorated just like the other rooms.

But, it’s most definitely a kitchen.

Since there’s a table in this room, might it be a dining room? Or maybe a den? It’s hard to tell in this home.

You can hardly find the bed in the bedroom. He bought furniture on a trip to China and the shipping cost more than the furniture, but he was so happy and excited to see it.

Bruno says his home has some very strong French influences with touches of chinoiserie but is also very Italian bourgeois. He loves to shop at auctions and flea markets, but a lot of the furnishings came from his parents’ house.
