I was up til recently also near the end of season 4, but let me tell ya season 5 has been Pretty Quality Thus Far. there is one episode that takes place 99% in the woods and there is snuggling. SNUGGLING.
Sometimes I feel that the way I’ve been watching The X-Files is weirdly unconcerned with linear time. I really don’t care if the mythology arc is unreliable, or even if an individual episode tracks from start to finish. No matter where I am, a few things remain certain: that Mulder loves Scully, that the Truth is Out There – and I care about those. But mostly, I’m just in it for the joy of moments.
