SUCH an exquisite joy that it seemed to have sent me halfway into a casket of my own, based on my recording quality! Ha ha haaaah

Anyway if you need a distraction today or any day from [spins current events wheel], may I recommend VARNEY THE VAMPIRE. Come for the vampires, stay for the vampire mermaids.

[translation: “I don’t usually share my creative work as a bookbinder because it makes me shy. I guess it’s because you always see in your own work the thousands of errors you need to fix. Anyway, here’s an exercise I did last year on the book El viaje de Pedro el afortunado by Augusto Strindberg—a gift from the writer Andrea Maturana and an old piece from his father’s library. The book had no covers, so I used a variation of the “sacred binding” by @kathyabbotty with handmade cotton paper and decorative dye on the covers. I hope you like it!”]

¡Es tan hermoso, op! Usted debe ser muy orgullosa.

Predictions are uttered by prophets (free of charge); by clairvoyants (who usually charge a fee, and are therefore more honored in their day than prophets); and by futurologists (salaried). Prediction is the business of prophets, clairvoyants, and futurologists. It is not the business of novelists. A novelist’s business is lying.
