If you’re thinking of color blocking your place, or you just like this technique, you’ll love Paolo’s, (his partner’s, and their cat’s), 861 sq. ft. home that is a classy, perfect example how to do color block.

Paolo says, “I think the style of the house is eclectic, but not in your face! I love colors, but calming palettes. Nothing too bright or flashy!” His favorite piece is the ribbed bar cabinet that he built, himself.

The bottom of the dining room is terra cotta and the whole house is a mix of high and low end pieces.

They wish the kitchen was bigger, but Paolo says you can’t have everything. I love the swirly tile backsplash.

Paolo thinks most people are just scared to use colors, worried that the house would look dark.

Isn’t the bedroom lovely? That dusty plum is a gorgeous shade against gray.

Paolo upcycled this IKEA shoe cabinet into a console.

They made this spare bedroom into a home office.

The 3rd spare room is a lovely reading room. The fireplace wall is so attractive.

Their very pretty bath. Love their home!
