do not even get me started on the writing choices, it is BAFFLINGLY bad. i watched the whole thing for various reasons but it’s REALLY POORLY DONE. they paid all that money to put queen on the soundtrack and never actually explained the joke! there’s just queen for no reason! that’s the least of the writing problems! and guess who gets writing credit. just guess

i maintain that “the sheer shippy gay of it all” is perhaps the WILDEST thing about the way this was adapted, but i am glad that everyone is happy
I saw a post about this show that said something like “just get baited like a fucking adult” and amazingly that seems to be everyone’s vibe? Perhaps we’ve become so frustrated with the fumbling with actual queer representation in TV shows that people are just consciously fleeing back to the sweet embrace of extraordinarily obvious gay ships that will neever be confirmed in canon. Party like it’s 2010!
