the best part of Garak constantly being accused of being a spy is that like... he is a spy, he is definitely spying on everyone, but due to nobody trusting or liking him he’s not spying FOR anyone. he does it for the mayhem.
i scream every time at that ds9 episode where it seems like o'brien dies and keiko is CONVINCED he's alive because the footage of it shows him drinking coffee in the afternoon and keiko KNOWS he never does that. and she manages to convince everyone else that he's alive/it's a cover up based on that reasoning. and then at the end when they're reunited and she tells him about how she knew, o'brien is just like "what? i absolutely DO drink coffee during the afternoon????"
